New for the Summer of 2009!

Second TC Site added!
We have added a 2nd site at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (SEAS)on 3 mile road, right across from East Middle School. Same morning program as at West Senior High. The TC West form and the SEAS form are the same. To sign-up at SEAS,CLICK HERE and make sure you check the SEAS box on the back of the form.

Wednesday Night Drop In Doubles: 6-8 PM TC West

For all TC Residents! A great way to meet new players . Weekly, Supervised doubles play (if needed) for adults and high school players. Come with a partner or by yourself. 2-3 rotations per evening. CLICK HERE to let us know that you are coming so we can plan. Prize drawings each Wednesday night. Canceled if raining.

Cost $5/Wednesday.

Saturday Stroke of the Week: 9-10:30 AM (TCW)
For all TC Residents! A Weekly Class designed for Adults and high school players. Work on different strokes each week decided by the pro or come with a suggestion of your own. We will break down each stroke mechanically and then build you back up and get you ready for your next match. Unsupervised match play after if you wish to stay. Cost: $10/class. The Team Tennis Academy has partnered with Let's Get Moving Northern Michigan!

Let’s Get Moving Northern Michigan is a health initiative designed to increase physical activity and prevent chronic disease related to sedentary lifestyle in our communities. In this program healthcare providers across Northern Michigan team up with local sponsors and local government to encourage adults, children, and families to set personal goals and make activity part of their daily lives. Participants log their activity miles and compete against other teams and communities. What a fun way to get fit.

Karen Merrill, The American Council on Exercise's (ACE) "National Trainer of the Year" will be putting together the Curriculum for the Academy this summer to include healthy choices and fit choices for Academy players in TC, Elk Rapids and Big Rapids. Low Cost Tennis Lessons
Two weeks of tennis lessons. Classes run Monday through Thursday from 8:30-10:00 or 10:30-12 Noon. All stroke mechanics, footwork, conditioning and tactical skills will be covered. Plenty of fun games in a positive learning environment.

COST
$70 for 12 hours of tennis.
Take 3 sessions and the 4th is FREE!

Included with your registration is eveything needed to be able to continue to play. We want you to continue to play once you leave

Traverse City West Senior High  School/ St. Elizabeth

All classes meet Monday through Thursday. you can choose either 8:30 -10:00 AM or 10:30-12 Noon for both adults and juniors. If you sign-up for 3 sessions in the same family, you will get a 4th session for FREE!

Session I: June 15-25         Session II: June 29- July 9
Session III: July 13-23         Session IV: July 27-August 6

There is also a Wednesday night adult class from 6:00-7:30 PM and a high school class on Tuesday/Thursday from 5-7 PM that runs for the whole summer starting the week of June 16th (only at TC West).
